MuslimCareer is a free platform that connects Muslim professionals for job referrals and provides information about Muslim-friendly workplaces. The Service facilitates introductions between job seekers and employees who may offer referrals, but does not guarantee employment outcomes.

Important Clarification

The primary purpose of MuslimCareer is to help users discover Muslim-friendly features and accommodations at various companies (such as prayer rooms, halal food options, flexible scheduling for religious observances, etc.). The referral feature is simply a way to connect with verified employees who can answer questions about these workplace features. Referrals offered through this platform are not based on religion — they are professional connections between individuals, and any referral decisions are made solely at the discretion of the referring employee based on professional merit.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account using LinkedIn OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information
Keep your account information up to date
Not share your account with others
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Harass, abuse, or harm other users
Submit false or misleading information
Spam other users with unsolicited messages
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
Use the Service to discriminate against any individual or group
Impersonate another person or entity

5. Referrals

MuslimCareer facilitates connections between job seekers and potential referrers. We do not guarantee that any referral will be provided, nor do we guarantee any employment outcome. Referrers are not obligated to provide referrals and may decline any request at their discretion.

6. Work Email Verification

Users who wish to offer referrals must verify their employment by confirming access to their work email address. This verification helps maintain the integrity of the platform but does not guarantee the accuracy of all user-provided information.

7. Content

Users retain ownership of content they submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant MuslimCareer a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with the Service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MUSLIMCAREER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time through your profile settings.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
